On Thursday, May 14,2020, Governor Ron DeSantis signed executive order 20-121, which extends mortgage foreclosure and eviction relief until June 2, 2020. This new executive order provides much needed support to residents who are struggling financially during the coronavirus pandemic.
This executive order does not, however, exempt individuals of their obligations to pay their mortgage payments or their rent payment if applicable. We do encourage you to continue making regular monthly payments if you are able to do so.
