The City’s state of emergency is hereby extended cotemporaneous to any county state of emergency. All previous Executive Emergency Orders are hereby repealed effective the date hereof.

Essential Retail Establishments, as defined by County orders, may open for business in the City of Sweetwater only from the hours of 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and must remain closed all other hours.

Restaurants and cafeterias may permit no more than 5 patrons into their premises at any one time and must provide sufficient space so that each patron may maintain a distance of 6-feet form every other patron.

Effective March 27, there is a curfew in the City of Sweetwater from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Residents are only subject to leave home for emergency purposes, to seek goods and services from essential retail establishments and/or to perform work in support of essential activities specifically permitted in this Emergency Order or any emergency order issued by a local municipality. Miami-Dade County, the State of Florida, or the federal government.

Groups of ten or more individuals are prohibited from gathering on any public street, alley, public way, sidewalk, or government facility open to the public in the City of SWeetwater.

Hotels, motels, and other commercial lodging establishments within the City of Sweetwater may continue to accept new reservations for persons identified in order 09-20 as Essential Lodgers unless and until prohibited by the City of Sweetwater or otherwise prohibited under applicable law.
