While awaiting for Hurricane Ian to approach Florida’s west coast, the City of Sweetwater trolley services were suspended, and the senior center was closed on Wednesday, September 28, and Thursday, September 29, in an abundance of caution. Miami-Dade Solid Waste Management also rescheduled recycling services.

- The City of Sweetwater trolley services will resume regular business hours starting today, September 29, 2022.
- The senior center will resume Friday, September 30,2022.
- Residential curbside recycling will be performed on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
