COVID-19 VACCINATION SITE IN SWEETWATER

Sweetwater, Florida (August 8, 2022) – This week will be the last week that community members can take the opportunity to get vaccinated to help further stop the spread of Covid-19. Friday, August 5, 2022, will be the last day the site will be open, starting from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Ronselli Park, 250 SW 114th Avenue, Sweetwater, FL, 33174.

The City of Sweetwater has been a designated Covid-19 vaccination site for over a year. In March of 2021, while we were in the midst of the pandemic, Mayor Orlando Lopez joined forces with the Florida Department of Health to offer our community the resource needed for prevention and protection against Covid-19. With over 68% of Florida’s population fully vaccinated, we are grateful that the City was able to host a vaccination site for those interested in protecting themselves against the virus during unprecedented times.
