Sweetwater K-9 Officers Receive New Vehicles
(Sweetwater) – Today, the Sweetwater Police Department K-9 officers received brand new vehicles. The Ford F-250 pick-up trucks are built to be more comfortable and accommodating for the K-9 while out on patrol. The Sweetwater Police Department is the first Police Department in the state of Florida to have K-9 officers use pick-up trucks.
This is a huge breakthrough for the Sweetwater Police Department. Special recognition to Mayor Orlando Lopez and Chief of Police Placido Diaz for their continued efforts to provide our officers with the latest and most innovative police equipment that will help ensure that our community receives the utmost protection.
