Construction Advisory

The installation of a new 36-inch force main continues along NW 107 Avenue from south of NW 7 Street to NW 25 Street.
 
Upcoming Closure and Detour Information:
 
Beginning Tuesday, July 19, 2022, construction activities will require a full nighttime closure of the NW 107 Avenue southbound lanes just south of the intersection of NW 107 Avenue and NW 7 Street. This closure will occur nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and last through Friday, July 22, 2022.
 
Southbound traffic on NW 107 Avenue will be detoured around the work zone using the East or the West route. Both detour routes redirect traffic back to NW 107 Avenue. 
  • West Detour (green): Motorists heading southbound on NW 107 Avenue will be detoured westbound at Fontainebleau Boulevard, southbound along NW 109 Avenue and eastbound on Flagler Street to access NW 107 Avenue.
  • East Detour (blue): Motorists heading southbound on NW 107 Avenue will be detoured eastbound at Fontainebleau Boulevard, southbound along NW 97 Avenue and westbound on Flagler Street to access NW 107 Avenue. 

 

 

Additional Lane Closure Information:
  • Single lane closure along NW 107 Avenue in both, the northbound and southbound direction. Please note this closure will remain throughout the duration of the work.
Please follow the signs to avoid delays and use caution when driving through the area.
 
As the force main installation progresses, temporary pavement will be placed to allow crews to reopen the impacted lanes to traffic. Final restoration will be done at the conclusion of the project.
