NW 107 Avenue Rail Crossing Closure Begins October 22
NW 12 Street and NW 107 Avenue
 
MIAMI, Fla. – CSX Transportation, Inc., in coordination Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works, is scheduled to close the NW 107 Avenue railroad crossing located just south of NW 12 Street from 5 a.m. Friday, October 22 through 6 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2021, weather permitting in the City of Sweetwater. During this closure, all traffic will be detoured away from the crossing and directed to follow signs to alternate local streets. This detour will allow workers to reconstruct the railroad crossing.
 
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
 
Northbound Primary Detour:
 
• Turn right on W Flagler Street
• Turn left on NW 87 Avenue
• Turn left on NW 12 Street to get back to NW 107 Avenue
 
Northbound Secondary Detour:
 
• Turn left on WB SR 836 ramp and exit right towards NW 111 Avenue
• Turn right on NW 111 Avenue
• Turn right on NW 12 Street to get back to NW 107 Avenue
 
Northbound Tertiary Detour:
 
• Turn right on EB SR 836
• Exit on NW 87 Avenue and turn left
• Turn left on NW 87 Avenue
• Turn left on NW 12 Street to get back to NW 107 Avenue
 
Southbound Main Detour:
 
• Turn left on NW 12 Street
• Turn right on NW 87 Avenue
• Turn right on W Flagler Street to get back to NW 107 Avenue
 
Southbound Secondary Detour:
 
• Turn left on NW 12 Street
• Turn right onto WB SR 836
• Exit on NW 107 Avenue South
