The Finance Department is responsible for the accounting and reporting of all financial activities of the City. This department performs the day to day accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, maintenance of fiscal records, cash management and investments. The annual budget is also prepared by the Finance Department under the guidance of the Mayor.
Additional responsibilities include worker's compensation claims, unemployment claims, health and liability insurance and preparation of monthly report of the City's finances for the City Commission.
